This combination of lightweight fiberglass shaft and a V-concave fiberglass reinforced polyethylene (PE) blade is a good alternative to heavier aluminum paddles. Fiberglass bends naturally and is therefore easy on your shoulders and back. The stringer inside the "Y" blade creates stiffness, while the full fiberglass die-cast blade is leak proof. The shafts have a horizontal rough surface for a good grip.
